- Tenders are invited for Preparation of Proposals for Three Ildp-Based Prioritized Development Projects in the Gambella People-S National Regional State (Gpnrs) The Horn of Africa Regional Environment Center & Network, Addis Ababa University (HoA-REC&N-AAU) has received financing from Sida (Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency) toward the cost of the development of capacity for implementers and facilitators of the ILDP in GPNRS, and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services. The consulting services (“the Services”) include Preparation of proposal for three ILDP-based prioritized development projects in the Gambella People-s National Regional State (GPNRS) as part of the the implementation of the Integrated Land Use and Development Master Plan (ILDP) of GPNRS. The HoAREC&N-AAU now invites eligible consulting firms to indicate their interest in providing the Services. Interested consulting firms shall provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services. The shortlisting criteria are; 1) Core related business accomplished so far, and years in business; 2) qualifications in the field of the assignment; 3) technical and managerial strength of the organization of the firm, and 4) Relevant qualifications and the number of key staff that can be deployed for assignment. The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to Article 22 of the public procurement directive and Article 5 of Sida Procurement Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants (“Consultant Guidelines”), setting forth the Sida policy on conflict of interest. An eligible consulting firm will be selected in accordance with the least cost and high-quality selection method set out in the Consultant Guidelines.
