- Tenders are invited for Supply of Preservation Chemicals for a Utility Wooden Pole with Personal Protective Equipment and Sf6 Gas with Cylinder and Injection Pump. Bid closing date: July 31, 2023 at 14:00 hour's local time Bid opening date: July 31, 2023 at 14:30 hour's local time Region: Addis Ababa Bid document price: 4,000.00 (Four Thousand Birr) or its equivalent of 80 (Eighty USD) or its equivalent in a freely convertible currency Bid bond: Different for the various lots (i.e., from Monday- Thursday 8:00-12.00 to 13:00-17:00 hours; Friday. 8:00-11:30 to 13:30 - 17:00 hours and Saturday 08:00 to 12:00 hours) at the address given below. A complete set of the bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested Bidders from the addresses above upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 4,000.00 (Four Thousand Birr only) or its equivalent of USD 80 (Eighty USD) or its equivalent in a freely convertible currency starting from June 16, 2023. The method of payment will be cash payment at PPMO cashier's check or deposited to the Ethiopian Electric Utility accounts: EEU Electrification Program Foreign Currency A/C No. 0101181300064 with National Bank of Ethiopia, for foreign account 4. Bids must be delivered to the address above on or before July 31, 2023, at 14:00 hours local time. Late bids will be rejected Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders representative who choose to attend in person. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidder designated representative and anyone who chooses to attend at EEU - PPM office near Iribekentu Bridge, Berges Building 3rd Floor EEU PPM PLW and Facilities office on July 31, 2023, 14:30 p.m. Local Time. 5. All Bids must be accompanied by a bid security and it shall be an unconditional Bank guarantee from a reputable Bank and must be counter-guaranteed by any Bank operating in Ethiopia and it remains valid for a period of Twenty Eight (28) days beyond the original bid validity period that will be (120+28) days i.e. Dec. 26, 2023. The amount and currency of the bid security shall be: For Lot-2.1.
