- Tenders are invited for Situational Study on the Impact of Communication Interventions in the Knowledge, Attitude and Practice of Vital Events Registration Demand creation is widely recognised as a key strategy to increase service uptake in behavioural and cognitive sciences. Normative and behaviour change for optimal birth and other vital events registration and certification requires identifying complex set of drivers that exist at the individual level (perception, beliefs, and agency), the group level (community dynamics, social influences, cultural norms and ritual practices) and within the broader enabling environment (structural barriers, governance practices, and communication environment). The consultancy institution carrying out the assignment will be led by a principal researcher, with MA or MSC degree and above in social sciences or other relevant field of study, and who has the following competencies: At least 10 years of experience and long-standing expertise with / in social and behaviour change research and programme design; Excellent collaboration, consultation and facilitation skills; Demonstrated research report-writing skills; and Experience leading team of researchers and directing the implementation of research Experience on birth and vital events registration and certification and related child protection subjects is an asset.
