- Request for proposals are invited for Refining Gender Sensitization Training Module Bid closing date: Jan 10, 2024 10:00 AM Bid opening date: Jan 10, 2024 10:30 AM Region: Addis Ababa Bid bond: 30,000.00 ETB Cuso International Ethiopia has a draft gender sensitization training manual which has been being used to facilitate training at the community level for its U-GIRLS 2 project target. The training content was drafted three years ago and would like to refine and review emerging topics and enhance the training manual with graphic design and visual arts to be adult-friendly and accessible to people with low literacy. Therefore, it would like to invite competitive firms with first-hand experience to deliver the following tasks: Review and refine a draft training manual content (Amharic) using culturally and politically acceptable expressions and developing relevant and emerging ideas/content. Provide additional activities and group discussion points under each topic/ session of the draft Training manual. Prepare a trainee-s handbook with visual art, Illustration, and layout design to make the training content adult-friendly and inclusive of people with little or no formal education. Provide a sample publication of the final draft of the training manual and trainees- handbook. REQUIREMENTS FOR EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in the field of training, in Gender, women's rights and Gender equality, and girls- education. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in developing training modules for youth and adults both in urban and rural settings. Demonstrated experiences in the art of facilitation skills. The consultant shall present testimony of previous similar works along with the technical proposal. A postgraduate or equivalent qualification in Gender, Social Sciences, or any other relevant discipline. Relevant regional and international experience will be an added advantage.
