- The Horn of Africa Regional Environmental Centre and Network, Addis Ababa University (HoA-REC&N, AAU) has received grant financing from the African Development Bank (acting as an Implementing Entity of the Climate Investment Fund) toward the cost of Improving Climate Resilience of Communities and Ecosystems Through Integrated Water Resources Management in the Ziway-Shalla Lakes Sub-Basin Project, and intends to apply part of the agreed amount for eligible payments under the contracts for hiring a consultancy firm to finance the consultancy services that would contribute to the Preparation of an Optimized, Climate-Informed Water Resources Development and Water Allocation Plan based on Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) principles for Implementation in the Ziway-Shalla Sub-Basin.
