- Expression of Interest are invited for To Design and Develop Central Social Protection Management Information System that is a Warehouse of Information De Linking Together Social Protection Sector Schemes to Provide Social Protection Performance Reports to Policymakers Information on Who is Getting What Type of Support when and Where Overall Objective: The overall objective of the project is to establish Central Social Protection Management Information in Ethiopia. Specific Objectives: Analyze similar Central Social Protection MISS and come up with the best Central Social Protection MIS, and then develop the Central Social Protection MIS-Ensure the maintenance services. Scope of Work The scope of the project is assessing the current status of social protection MIS's in the country including all social protection-related MIS in the MOWSA, preparing requirement analysis, system design, system development, configuration, implementation, testing, training, maintenance, support, deliver third parties' software for implementing Central Social Protection Management Information System to manipulate all social protection related data that reside in various governmental organizations The firm should consider the scope is opened to include activities gathered during requirement analysis. The firm will be responsible to deliver all necessary system requirements to effectively deploy all social protection-related management information systems that exist in the MOWSA and various Governmental bodies in the country. Regarding report requirements, the firm shall deliver at most 50 prioritized reports. In order to achieve the objective of the assignment, the consultant will, among others undertake the following tasks: - Designing, implementing/ customizing, configuring, commissioning, testing, deploying, conducting intensive system training for users and technical staff on the Central Social Protection MIS, and supporting and maintenance of the system for the warranty period. Present prototype of the system to all stakeholders, collect the comments and amend system according to comments collected and prepare the second prototype with all functionalities incorporated with its implementation guideline; Conduct User Acceptance Test for ensuring acceptable performance and security; Gather comments, bugs, errors, and correction points and assess the integrity, consistency, and reliability of the system; The Central Social Protection MIS must be developed in an open manner for integration with different software applications and it is a must, if necessary, the firm should integrate with existing systems.
