Expression of Interest are invited for Delivering Agribusiness Leadership Program (ALP) Training to Malt Barley Aggregators in Ethiopia. International Finance Corporation (IFC) has introduced a globally standardized capacity building program, called the Agribusiness Leadership Program (ALP), for farmers and farmer organizations to enhance their market orientation and business skills. IFC is partnering with Habesha Breweries S.C to substantially increase the companys sourcing of commercially available malt barley from smallholder and emergent commercial farmers in Ethiopia through a whole value chain approach & identify key challenges and opportunities within the Habeshas supply chain. The project intends to facilitate Habeshas goal of reaching 100% local sourcing of malt barley by end of 2023. Currently, Habesha is working with primary cooperatives, cooperative unions and commercial model farmers in N.Shewa and W. Arsi zones in the Oromia. IFC aims to contract a qualified local service provider to deliver the ALP training and peer-to-peer coaching to staff from 66 malt barley aggregators in the Habesha supply chain. The World Bank Group now invites eligible firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc. for firms; CV and cover letter for individuals). Please note that the total size of all attachments should be less than 5MB. Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.
