Bid closing date: Jun 08, 2022 4:00 PM Bid opening date: No Specific Opening Date and Time Region: Addis Ababa COUNTRY: The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia NAME OF PROJECT: Lowlands Livelihood Resilience Project (LLRP) PROJECT ID: P164336, IDA-64120 ET ASSIGNMENT TITLE: Mid-Term Evaluation (MTE) of the Lowlands Livelihood Resilience Project (LLRP) Procurement Reference No.: ET-ILLD-292596-CS-QCBS The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Ministry of Irrigation, and Lowlands have received financing from the World Bank towards the cost of the Lowlands Livelihood Resilience Project (LLRP), and intend to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services. The consulting services ("the services") include Mid Term Review of the Lowlands Livelihood Resilience Project (LLRP). The Lowlands Livelihood Resilience Project/Federal Project Coordination Unit now invites eligible consulting firms ("Consultants") to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested consultants should provide information demonstrating that they have the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the services. The shortlisting criteria are Core business and years in business, qualification in the field of the Assignment, Technical and managerial organization of the firm, General qualification, and a number of key staff in the firm. Interested firms should give information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.) The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to paragraph 1.9 of the World Bank's Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers (Procurement Regulations) dated July 2016 and revised in November 2017 and August 2018 ("Consultant Guidelines"), setting forth the World Bank's policy on conflict of interest. Consultants may associate with other firms in the form of a joint venture or a sub consultancy to enhance their qualifications. The Competent Consulting firm will be selected in accordance with the QCBS method set out in the Consultants Guidelines.
