- Request for proposals are invited for Consultancy Service EEU Women Employees Capacity Development Program Bid Security (ETB): 40000/- 9. A complete set of bidding Documents may be purchased by interested eligible consultants at the address above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee against payment receipt of ETB 1000 (One Thousand Birr). Ethiopian Electric Utility (EEU) Account No. 1000068699332 held at Commercial Bank of Ethiopia. Scope of work: - The initial assignment of this consultancy is for one year until September 2023, which can be extended based on an agreement between the consulting firm/CSO and EEU. In all EEU regions and at the HQ the consulting firm is expected to conduct capacity needs assessment design, develop and lead EEU mentorship program, short-term training program, GBV prevention, and response supervision and support as well as develop tailored mentorship and coaching program through working closely with Wro. Meazagenet Tsegaye, Director of Women, Children and Youth Affairs Directorate (WCYAD) of EEU. Whenever the needs arise, the consultant is also obligated to work with Training and Development Department, EEU regional offices, other EEU directorates at HQ, and the Labor Union. Technical and financial proposals for the assignment should be submitted as per the outline suggested under the "How to Apply" section. Conduct capacity needs assessment in 11 EEU regions and HQ (training and mentorship program) Capacity needs assessment report as per the detail under 3.1 (training and mentorship program) The mentorship program package for emerging women leaders and for women in STEM fields Mentorship program implementation and Submission of mentorship program implementation progress reports on a monthly and quarterly basis Mentorship program implementation strategy to be utilized by EEU Development of short-term training programs in different topics, training manuals, and facilitator's guide GBV prevention and response mentorship and coaching guidelines and 5 reference booklet Documentation of mentorship and training program Knowledge products Train EEU female staff in different training topics (training topics, no of training, and no of training participants will be decided in consultation with WCYAD) Submission of mentorship and training program implementation final report Development of GBV prevention and response orientation training manual, facilitator's guide, and PPTs Delivering GBV prevention and response orientation training to EEU project staff, contractors, sub-contractors, etc as per the guidance from WCYAD GBV prevention and response supervision, support, and orientation training report Translated the Amharic version of the following key materials upon completion of the assignment The mentorship program package for emerging women leaders and for women in STEM fields Training programs in different topics (participant manual, facilitators guide, PPTS) GBV prevention and response supervision, support, and orientation training report GBV prevention and response orientation training manual, facilitator's guide, and PPTs GBV prevention and response mentorship and coaching guideline and reference booklet Mentorship program implementation strategy to be utilized by EEU Documentation of mentorship program Knowledge products 2. Criteria and Qualifications:-The desired criteria for a consulting firm Desired criteria for Consulting Firm: the consultant(s) profile should include: A team of highly experienced, professionally qualified, and organized personnel Proven ability and skill in conducting capacity needs assessment, capacity development support, and M&E Practical experience in developing and leading mentorship programs(experience in women's mentorship programs is a plus); Proven experience in mentorship program guidelines and manual development; Be available to deliver work within the deadline and willingness to travel to EEU regions and project sites with short notice in case of an urgent request for support; Excellent understanding of women empowerment programs; Profound report writing, manual, and policy development skill, and knowledge; High attention to detail and concern for quality outcomes; Bid closing date: Jan 31, 2023 2:00 PM Bid opening date: Jan 31, 2023 2:30 PM Region: Addis Ababa Bid document price: 1000.00 Birr Bid bond: 40,000.00 Birr
