- Tenders are invited for Carrying out Construction Work of Debre Markos University Remaining Works of Infrastructure Work. Bids opening date: 45 consecutive days after announcement of invitation in the Ethiopian Heraled Newspaper 4:30 AM (Local Time) Bid document price: 500(five hundred) BIRR Bid bond: 500,000.00 (Five Hundred thousand Birr). The Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has allocated funds during the financial year 2014EC/2021/ for the Implementation of Debre Markos University REMAINING WORKS OF INFRASTRUCTURE WORK. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the funds will be used to cover eligible payment under the Contract for DEBRE MARKOS UNIVERSITY REMAINING WORKS OF INFRASTRUCTURE WORK. The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Debre Markos University now invites sealed Tenders from eligible Contractors GC grade 2 and above renewed for the current year for carrying out construction work of DEBRE MARKOS UNIVERSITY REMAINING WORKS OF INFRASTRUCTURE WORK Tendering is conducted through the International Competitive Tendering as specified in the Public Procurement Proclamation and it is open to all Tenderers defined in the Regulations. Interested eligible Tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the office of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Debre Markos University, Ground Floor, Room No. 10, Office, and PO Box 269, Debre Markos University, Ethiopia from 08:00am (Morning) to 04:30pm (Noon) on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays A complete set of Tender Dossier in English Language and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers after submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 4 above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Ethiopian Birr 500 (Five Hundred Only). Payment should either be by Cash, Banker's Draft, or Banker's Cheque, Payable to Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Debre Markos University, Ground Floor, Room No. 10, Office, P.O.Box 269, Debre Markos, Ethiopia. All Tenders must be accompanied Tender Security in a form of CPO or Unconditional Bank Guarantee in the amount of Ethiopian Birr 500,000.00 (Five Hundred Thousand only) All Tenders comprising Technical and Financial Proposals for the Project must be delivered in separate sealed envelopes in one original plus one copies, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Debre Markos University, Ground Floor, Room No. 10, Office, and P.O. Box 269, Debre Markos, Ethiopia. Tenders will be closed 45 consecutive days after announcement of invitation in the Ethiopian Heraled Newspaper 4:00 AM (Local Time) and will be opend all the same day at 4:30 AM( Local Time) promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tender's representative who will choose to attend the opening session in the Center Conference Room 10 Ground Floor, Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Debre Markos University, Debre Markos, Ethiopia. Late Tenders, portion of Tenders, electronic Tenders, not received, Tenders not opened at the Tender opening ceremony shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances. . Debre Markos University reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders, to alter, amend or cancel this request if deemed to be of the interest, to annul the tendering process, and to reject all Tenders at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected Tenderer or Tenderers.
