- Tenders are invited for Audit Service Tearfund Ireland supports work in four disaster prone districts of SNNPR (Damaot Gale, Damo Sore, Sodo Zuria and Boloso Sore) through partners. In addition, Tearfund Ireland also work with a local network of 32 agencies work in Benishangul Gumuz, Addis Ababa, Diredawa, Oromia and Amhara Regions. We support two zones in SNNP and a number of other zones in Amahra, Oromia, Benishngul etc. regions through a network of agencies. Currently, Tearfund Ireland supported projects in Ethiopia are contributing towards the ongoing national endeavours of improving the food security and disaster resilience in the country in line with the Growth and Transformation Plan (GTP 1 & GTP 2) and SDGs 1, 2, 5 and 13. All supported projects have capacity building components. These include trainings given to beneficiary communities, project staff and government counterparts at the grassroots level. They address issues of economic empowerment of the community as well deficiencies and shortcomings in skills and competence in institutional setups.
